Manufacturer Intelligence moves from preview to a RevenueOS production patch
ELVN Manufacturer Intelligence is now packaged as a private, versioned and reversible RevenueOS v0.1 production patch. Connector certification, owner review and catalog canaries remain controlled rollout gates.
Why SKU-by-SKU research does not scale
Industrial catalogs contain exact orderable products, not interchangeable strings. Repeating generic research for each SKU duplicates source discovery while leaving package, carrier, temperature, voltage and lifecycle variants exposed to identity mistakes.
Manufacturer-level connectors
The patch changes the reusable unit of work to a governed manufacturer connector. Each connector has an explicit source policy, bounded quota and suspension controls. Unknown access or usage rights fail closed rather than being bypassed.
Exact product identity
Tenant, manufacturer and the complete orderable MPN form the identity contract. Normalized codes may assist discovery, but cannot collapse package, suffix, carrier, grade or regional variants. Family-only evidence cannot become an exact-product fact.
Datasheet intelligence
Approved documents retain checksums and exact-MPN validation. Candidate fields preserve raw and normalized values, qualifiers, document location, extraction method, confidence and conflicts. Recommended, nominal, typical and limit values are not flattened into one misleading number.
Optional AI
Customer-approved models may assist query generation, candidate ranking, section detection, table interpretation, unit mapping and reviewer summaries. AI output remains inference: it cannot verify a fact, merge identities, infer compliance, change commercial data or publish.
Evidence and human review
Tenant-scoped reviewers see current catalog facts, official evidence, qualifiers, conflicts and a field-level diff. Decisions are append-only audited, and rejected or uncertain candidates remain outside publication.
Controlled publication
Approved fields enter a separate publication simulation and a reversible batch. Production adapter boundaries preserve URLs, canonicals, robots, sitemaps, prices, stock and commercial workflows. Adapters remain disabled until source policy, owner review and a tiny canary are approved.
RevenueOS integration
The module uses RevenueOS identities and audit boundaries rather than creating a parallel CRM or catalog. Safe lifecycle events can enter a signed, idempotent outbox while proprietary source details and documents remain private.
Private implementation availability
This is a Production Patch Preview, not general availability or broad manufacturer coverage. Selected engagements begin with source feasibility and exact-identity review, then proceed to a bounded connector pilot and controlled canary only after approval.
